The Most Important Skill on The LSAT.

At Start LSAT, we teach our students how to make the test as simple as possible. The LSAT is challenging because of the verbiage, jargon, and convoluted language that they use. However, once you are able to break down these dense passages into simple, and easy to understand arguments, the rest is easy.

Our favorite expression here is "how would you describe this to a 5th grader?" That's truly how simple the LSAT can be once you can paraphrase in your own words.

Having the ability to turn LSAT language into their own is allows students to easily understand the point of the argument, and perform what is being asked of them on the LSAT.

A Competitive Mindset.

Just like anything else, your mindset on the LSAT will affect your performance during both your practice and your official test. At Start LSAT, we teach our students how to get in the right competitive mindset when it comes to the LSAT. Remembering that the test is just challenging because someone wrote it to try and trick you, creates a competitiveness within our students to beat the test.

This competitive mindset allows our students to be more precise, thorough, and adds some (albeit not a ton) of excitement to the LSAT!

We're Changing How The LSAT is Taught.

When we opened Start LSAT, we realized something troubling, all LSAT prep companies teach you the same way. Yes, they all have different names and branding, but they all offer the same thing; self paced materials plus the option to attend a large lecture with 30 plus students and expect you to build a skill from that. That didn't work for us in college, and we know it never would have worked for a skill based test like the LSAT.

So we have changed this.

Our program is personalized. You will work through a 15 hour self paced curriculum while you receive expert guidance from your LSAT coach via weekly one on one sessions. Being a very personalized program allows us to teach our students how to form argument paraphrases and predictions that make sense to them as individuals, as we understand everyone thinks differently.
